Serious motivation! Official: Fiorentina sign Marco Brescianini, but with one interesting condition

Details: Today, Fiorentina’s official page on social network X announced that 25-year-old Italian midfielder Marco Brescianini from Atalanta has joined the Viola on a six-month loan deal, but with a mandatory purchase option that will only be triggered under one specific condition.

The agreement between the clubs states that Fiorentina will be obliged to buy out Brescianini’s contract if they manage to retain their Serie A status. In that case, Fiorentina will have to pay €10 million for Marco Brescianini’s transfer, and the player will sign a four-year contract.
Marco Brescianini moved to Atalanta from Frosinone in the summer of 2025, after spending the previous season on loan at Atalanta.
In total, Brescianini has made 50 appearances for the Bergamaschi across all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 2 assists.
According to Transfermarkt, Marco Brescianini’s market value is estimated at €7.5 million.
