The first half ended in a disaster for Barcelona's midfielder, Frenkie de Jong. After a collision with Federico Valverde, the midfielder writhed in pain and requested to be substituted. The Dutch footballer couldn't even leave the field on his own; he was carried off on a stretcher.

De Jong had only just returned from a previous injury at the beginning of April. Overall, this marks his third injury of the current season.
