Serie A. Inter loses points, Lazio gains a comfortable lead

In the 18th round of Serie A, Genoa hosted Inter at home and Lazio played with Frosinone. The matches took place on Friday, 29 December.

In the first half, Inter had a total advantage in attack, although they had less possession. The visitors managed to score in the 42nd minute. Marko Arnautovic scored a goal. However, in the seventh minute of the first half, Genoa equalised. Radu Dregušin scored with an assist from Gudmundsson.

After the break, Inter had more possession but were not sharper in attack. Inzaghi's team did not create a chance to score the winning goal. Inter draws 1-1, gaining 45 points and staying in first place in the standings.
