Inter hosted Lecce for the 17th round of the Italian Serie A. The Milan-based team secured a comfortable 2-0 victory.

The Nerazzurri found the net once in each half. After Marco Arnautovic missed a few potent opportunities, Yann Bisseck with a header successfully converted Hakan Calhanoglu's delivery, giving Inter the lead in the first half.

On the 78th minute, Nicolo Barella received a pass inside the box and struck the ball into the bottom left corner of Lecce's goal, setting the final score of the match. It's worth noting that the guests finished the game with ten men after Lemeck Banda received a straight red card for unsportsmanlike behavior.

With 44 points, Inter continues to lead Serie A, four points ahead of Juventus. Lecce currently sits 12th in the standings with 20 points.

Simone Inzaghi's team will conclude the year 2023 with an away match against Genoa on December 29th.
