Serie A 2024/25: what to know about the tournament?

Since the 2004/2005 season, Serie A has featured 20 teams. Throughout the football season (from August to May), each club plays twice against every other team: one match at home and the other away. Thus, each team plays 38 matches per season.

At the end of last season, Frosinone, Sassuolo, and Salernitana were relegated from the top division. Replacing them are Parma, Como, and Venezia.
