Spanish centre-back Sergio Ramos is currently playing for Mexican side Monterrey, but he will not extend his stay with the club and is therefore considering a move back to Europe.

Details: According to Tuttosport, Ramos may continue his career in Milan. The Italian club are looking to strengthen the heart of their defence, while the Spaniard is not ready to retire despite being 39 years old.

Ramos joined Monterrey in June 2025 as a free agent. This season, he has scored 2 goals in 17 club appearances.

We also reported that Sunderland are seeking to bolster their attacking line and are preparing a move for Milan forward Santiago Giménez. The Black Cats are planning to bring him in on loan this January with an obligation to buy.

Reminder: In the summer of 2025, there were rumours that Chelsea were considering signing Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, but the move never materialised. It now appears they could aim for a free transfer in the summer of 2026, although this currently seems unlikely.
