Serena Williams attended Djokovic's match against Musetti at the Miami Open
Tennis legend Serena Williams didn't miss the chance to attend a match of another tennis icon, Novak Djokovic. The American tennis star shared her photos from the stands on Instagram during the 4th round match at the Miami Open, where the Serbian faced off against Italian Musetti.
Serena posted several selfies from the stands in her Instagram stories, and she also shared Djokovic's post, which he uploaded after the match ended.
Notably, Novak mentioned Serena in his post, thanking her for her support and expressing his joy at seeing her.
It's worth noting that Djokovic easily handled the world's 16th-ranked player, Lorenzo Musetti, winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-2. In the next round, Djokovic is set to face the ATP's 25th-ranked player, American Sebastian Korda.
It should be mentioned that this tournament has long eluded Djokovic. The Serbian will play in the quarterfinals of the Miami Masters for the first time since 2016.
Among other quarterfinalists are Taylor Fritz, Matteo Berrettini, Grigor Dimitrov, Francisco Cerundolo, and Jakub Mensik. Another quarterfinalist will be determined in the match between Alexander Zverev and Arthur Fils.
