Sensation in Indian cricket! 15-year-old player may debut for India national team
A young superstar who burst onto the scene in the Indian Premier League is on the verge of making the most dramatic career leap in modern cricket history.
Details: According to Indian Sports Netwrk, 15-year-old enfant terrible Vaibhav Suryavanshi is likely to receive his first official call-up to the India national team in the T20I format for the upcoming series against Ireland.
Head coach Gautam Gambhir and the entire BCCI selection committee are absolutely thrilled and deeply impressed by Vaibhav’s phenomenal performances this IPL season, where he’s been tearing apart the defences of top-tier opponents as part of the Rajasthan Royals.
Just recently, Suryavanshi etched his name into the record books with a total demolition in a knockout match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, smashing a staggering 97 runs off just 29 balls and breaking Chris Gayle’s legendary 14-year record for most sixes in a single season.
