Sensation! AS Monaco is interested in Mamelodi Sundowns’ defender
The Club World Cup has become a major showcase for players from modest teams who may earn a significant step-up in their careers.
Details: AS Monaco, a team that will participate in the league phase of the upcoming UEFA Champions League, is interested in the services of Mamelodi Sundowns right-back Khuliso Mudau. There is no information yet about the details of a potential move, but the interest from the French giants is believed to be concrete.
Quote: "There have been more enquiries, mainly after the Club World Cup but the main one is from French Ligue 1 club Monaco. They have shown interest in him and it is now all up to the two clubs whether they will agree on the move or not.
The talks have never stopped. All the involved parties have been talking and Sundowns have made it clear that they want to keep Mudau at the club. And with this interest from Monaco in France they are believed to be working on his new contract as soon as they can to secure his future," two independent sources told Soccer Laduma.
