Senegal's Fallou Mendy Joins Raja Military Club for Rest of the Season
On Saturday, February 1, 2025, the Royal Army Club (Raja) formally announced the signing of Falou Mendy, a Senegalese defender. To bolster the defense for the remainder of the season, Mendy enters from Espérance Sportive de Tunis in Tunisia.
This transfer replaces Mauritanian defender El Hassen Houeibib, who will miss the rest of the current campaign due to a major knee injury.
With 34 points after 19 rounds, the Royal Army Club is currently ranked third in the Moroccan Pro League rankings. In keeping with their successful continental campaign, the team has also guaranteed a place in the CAF Champions League quarterfinals.
Mendy was successfully registered by the club for immediate participation, and his league debut is anticipated to take place against Ittihad Tanger on Saturday. Because to the club's impeccable record, this was completed quickly and without any issues, in contrast to other clubs.
Mendy, who came from Espérance Sportive de Tunis, is the lone player the Royal Army Club signed during the winter transfer window. Once the team has passed past the group round and is awaiting the draw for the next round, he will be part of the club's CAF squad.
