18-year-old Senegalese defender Fallou Diouf, who is set to become a free agent soon, has caught the attention of both Rome-based giants — Roma and Lazio. This was reported by journalist Alfredo Pedullà.
The player and his representatives insisted that his contract with Génération Foot expires in 2025, while the club claimed it runs until 2028. This contract dispute was the reason his transfer to Atalanta collapsed last year.
However, the situation has now been resolved: the National Chamber of Dispute Resolution has sided with Diouf, confirming that his contract indeed ends in the coming days. This paves the way for him to move to a new club as a free agent.
It remains unclear whether Atalanta will rekindle their interest, but it is certain that the talented defender has already been offered to both Roma and Lazio. Given his potential and free agent status, the chances of a move to the Italian capital are very high.
