The 22-year-old Senegalese winger arrives in Liga Portugal for €6.5 million. Souleymane Faye has signed a four-year contract.
He will defend Sporting CP's colours until 2030 with a release clause estimated at €80 million. He will wear the number 15 shirt.
Upon the official announcement of his signing, the Senegalese player expressed his ambitions. ‘I really want to wear this shirt and also play in the Champions League. It's a childhood dream for all players. I want to help the team achieve its goals and, for my part, grow a lot and win titles,’ he said.
Trained at the Galaxy Football Academy in Dakar, he joined Granada CF in 2022.
