Senegalese player Krepin Diatta on Marseille’s radar
The Senegalese international midfielder has been a free agent since his contract with Monaco expired.
Krepin Diatta is attracting interest during this summer’s transfer window. The Senegalese international, who is currently a free agent, has caught the eye of several European clubs.
Olympique Marseille are reportedly one of the clubs vying for the Senegalese player. According to sources, the French club are monitoring Diatta’s situation.
The Marseille-based club are said to be impressed by the Senegalese international’s profile. As part of their approach, Marseille are reported to have made enquiries about the situation of the 27-year-old, who is capable of playing as a winger or right-back.
The French club are aiming to sign him this summer. However, no formal offer has yet been made by the Marseille-based club.
But Olympique Marseille are not the only club interested in Krepin Diatta. Other European clubs are also said to be in the running.
In Germany, Bundesliga newcomers Schalke 04 are keen to bolster their squad with Diatta’s services. The German club are therefore keeping tabs on the versatile Senegalese player.
In the Premier League, two clubs are also said to be monitoring the player’s situation: Everton and newly promoted Ipswich.
Amidst this speculation, Krepin Diatta is free to join the club of his choice.
