Senegalese Ligue 1: Teungueth take top spot, AJEL Rufisque dethroned

Matchday 28 of the Senegalese professional league has reshuffled the deck in the title race.

Thanks to their 2-0 victory over Stade Mbour, Teungueth capitalised on AJEL Rufisque’s slip-up to reclaim top spot in the league. At home, Teungueth pulled off a crucial win in the final stretch of the Senegalese Ligue 1.

Meanwhile, AJEL Rufisque lost to US Gorée (2-1), relinquishing the league lead at this decisive stage of the season.
