Senegalese Ligue 1: AJEL Rufisque held to a draw, Teungueth FC win

The league leaders have been held up once again in the title race.

Following their defeat in the previous match, AJEL Rufisque were unable to bounce back as they would have liked. The Rufisque club had to settle for a goalless draw against Wally Daan on Saturday 25 April on Matchday 24 of the Senegalese Ligue 1. With this draw, AJEL Rufisque has seen its lead at the top of the league slip further.

Meanwhile, Teungueth FC secured a 1-0 victory over ASC HLM. Playing at home, they capitalised on home advantage to secure a narrow but valuable win. Thanks to this result, Teungueth FC provisionally move into second place in the table with 42 points.
