Senegalese Ligue 1: AJEL Rufisque and Génération Foot play out a draw

The second matchday of the Senegalese professional league kicked off on Saturday 24 October with three fixtures on the programme.

Following this first round of matches, AJEL Rufisque and Génération Foot, as well as Dakar SC and US Gorée, played out goalless draws. Meanwhile, Diambars were beaten at home by ASC HLM.

In a hard-fought contest, AJEL Rufisque and Génération Foot were unable to break the deadlock. The two sides cancelled each other out (0–0) in a match where neither managed to find the back of the net.

The same scenario played out between Dakar SC and US Gorée. The two teams also shared the points after a goalless draw (0–0).

The only victory of the day went to ASC HLM. Playing away at Diambars, the club secured a narrow 1–0 victory, thereby handing their opponents a home defeat.

With two draws and one away win, this first round of fixtures kicked off the second day of the Senegalese league, which continues with the upcoming fixtures on the schedule. Four matches will be played on Sunday 25 October.
