Senegalese goalkeeper Vincent Gomis joins FC Metz
The Senegalese U18 international has signed a four-season contract with the Ligue 2 club.
FC Metz has strengthened its squad with the signing of a young Senegalese goalkeeper. The club, which will compete in the French second division next season, has announced the signing of Vincent Gomis.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper has signed a four-season contract with the French club. As such, Vincent Gomis will represent FC Metz until June 2030.
The young goalkeeper, who plays for Senegal’s youth teams, has joined Metz from Génération Foot in Senegal. Thanks to this transfer, he will experience a new league from the 2026–2027 season onwards.
Upon signing his contract, Vincent Gomis expressed his delight.
“I am very happy and proud to be joining FC Metz. Above all, I would like to thank Génération Foot, who have supported me throughout my career, as well as my family, who have always backed and encouraged me.”
