Senegal’s U15 team beat Uganda on penalties

Senegal were crowned champions after an almost flawless campaign. The young Senegalese side finished top of their group without suffering a single defeat, before knocking out Morocco in the tournament’s semi-finals. This Friday 10 April, Senegal and Uganda fought an intense battle in the final.

The match ended goalless after normal time, and the two teams went to a penalty shoot-out. At the end of this phase, it was the Senegalese team that emerged victorious with five successful penalties to Uganda’s four.
