Senegal presented their Africa Cup of Nations trophy at the Stade de France

The decision taken by CAF on 17 March and Morocco’s threats have not deterred the Lions of Teranga.

Senegal continues to carry out its plan despite the standoff with the Confederation of African Football and Morocco. Supporters who turned out in huge numbers in Paris to back the Senegalese national team against Peru in an international friendly were treated to a glimpse of the Africa Cup of Nations trophy. It was officially unveiled before a crowd of 80,000 supporters who had turned out in force for the occasion.

The atmosphere is electric at the Stade de France, where the international friendly is being played. The musician Youssou N’dour put on a show before the trophy was unveiled.
