Senegal to File Corruption Charges as AFCON Investigation Intensifies

Senegal have confirmed plans to file corruption charges against five individuals as investigations surrounding the case continue to deepen.

Speaking at a press conference, legal representative Seydou Diagne revealed that the process of submitting a formal complaint is already underway, with authorities preparing to take the matter further.

“A complaint for corruption will be filed against five people,” he stated, indicating the seriousness of the allegations. “We have legitimate grounds to request the opening of an international criminal investigation in the USA,” he added.
