With their place secured for the 2025 TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN), Senegal is poised for what could be a historic year in African football. The Lions of Teranga have qualified for five major CAF tournaments, including the CHAN, U-17 AFCON, U-20 AFCON, WAFCON, and AFCON Morocco 2025

They will start the adventure by defending the CHAN title they won in Algiers three years ago. In competitions slated for March through May, their U-17 and U-20 teams will also try to hold onto their continental titles. In July, the Teranga Lionesses will go to Morocco to compete for their first-ever WAFCON championship.

Senegal achieved an unparalleled record in 2022 and 2023 by winning four continental titles in a single year, including their first AFCON victory in Cameroon. They now want to surpass that achievement by winning all available titles by 2025, a challenging endeavor considering African football's improving standards.

As the reigning champions in multiple categories, Senegal stands as a symbol of excellence and ambition, ready to solidify its dominance and make history once again on the continental stage.
