The Lions of Teranga have opened their training camp in Diamniadio.

This marks the final phase of preparations for the 2026 World Cup. Like other national teams, Senegal will use the June international break to fine-tune its preparations.

The squad has been gathered in Diamniadio (Dakar) since Monday 25 May for the start of the training camp. Several of the players called up have already reported for duty. Pape Thiaw’s squad held their first training session in the afternoon on the auxiliary pitch at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium.

Senegal are keen to prepare properly before facing France, Norway and Iraq in Group I.
