Senegal – Kenya: 8-0, the Lions' biggest ever victory
The Senegalese team broke a historic record during their match against Kenya this Tuesday in Antalya. Sadio Mané scored a hat trick, Nicolas Jackson a brace, and El Hadji Malick Diouf and Ibrahim Mbaye scored the other two goals.
The previous record was set on October 9, 2010 against Mauritius (7-0), with a hat trick from Papiss Cisse, a brace from Mamadou Niang, a goal from Moussa Sow, and an own goal by Estazie. Sadio Mané took advantage of the opportunity to score a hat trick, surpassing the 50-goal mark. Jackson scored his first brace, and Malick Diouf his first goal.
This record wasn't the only one of the evening, as Mbaye, at 17, became the youngest goalscorer for the Lions. The Paris Saint-Germain winger, who provided assists for El Hadj Malick Diouf and Sadio Mané, also became the youngest player in the history of the Senegalese national team.
