Senegal is set to play a friendly match against Peru in March 2026
No official announcement has yet been made by either the Senegalese Football Federation or the Peruvian Football Federation.
However, Peruvian television channel L1MAX claims that the African champions will face Peru during the FIFA window next March.
According to the media outlet, the match is expected to be played in Paris, France. If confirmed, it will be an opportunity for the Lions of Teranga to continue their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
We will have to wait for confirmation from the FSF to be sure that this friendly match will take place during the FIFA international break in March.
Qualified for the 2026 World Cup finals, which will kick off on 11 June, the Senegal national team is in Group I alongside France and Norway.
