Despite attempts from both sides, neither team could break the deadlock. The score remained goalless until the final whistle. For Senegal, Nicolas Jackson was sent off after receiving a second yellow card. Pape Thiaw’s side thus concluded the final phase of their preparations without a win, following their defeat against the United States in a friendly a few days earlier.
