Senegal played their final international friendly as part of their preparations for the World Cup co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. Played against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday 9 June 2026 at Toyota Field in San Antonio, the match ended in a goalless draw.
Despite attempts from both sides, neither team could break the deadlock. The score remained goalless until the final whistle. For Senegal, Nicolas Jackson was sent off after receiving a second yellow card. Pape Thiaw’s side thus concluded the final phase of their preparations without a win, following their defeat against the United States in a friendly a few days earlier.
