Senegal continues its preparations in the United States ahead of its World Cup opener
The Lions of Teranga held their first training session in New Jersey.
Sadio Mane and his teammates are continuing their training in the United States. After two international friendlies, which ended in a defeat and a draw against Team USA and Saudi Arabia respectively, the Senegalese team is looking to iron out the final details before facing France on 16 June in Group I.
Having arrived in New Jersey on 11 June, Pape Thiaw and his players are training calmly in preparation for the tournament, which will take place from 11 June to 19 July in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Senegalese squad held their first training session at Rutgers University in New Jersey, where their base camp is located.
Pape Thiaw’s squad is complete. However, Cherif Ndiaye is training individually. In Group I, Senegal will face France, Norway and Iraq during the group stage.
