Manchester United are ramping up their interest in AC Milan striker Rafael Leão. According to Tuttosport, representatives of the English club will be present at the Serie A clash between Milan and Juventus to personally assess the Portuguese forward's performance.
Reports indicate that Leão is high on the Red Devils’ priority list for next season. Moreover, preliminary talks have already taken place between the player’s camp and the club, although negotiations have yet to progress to an advanced stage.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are open to considering offers for the player during the summer transfer window. It is reported that a fee of around €50 million could satisfy the Rossoneri’s management.
Manchester United could face stiff competition from Barcelona, who are also showing interest in the winger and have previously made contact with his representatives. However, as with the English club, no formal negotiations have begun at this stage.
