Seko Fofana scores on his debut with FC Porto
It took less than a quarter of an hour for the Ivorian to make his mark in the Portuguese Liga.
It's a great start for Seko Fofana, who arrived on loan from Rennes to FC Porto this winter. He made his league debut with the Portuguese club on Monday 9 February 2026. And his debut has already made a lasting impression.
Starting as a substitute in the match between league leaders FC Porto and their great rivals Sporting CP in the 21st round of the Portuguese Liga, the Ivorian international has already made his mark. Coming on in the 63rd minute, Seko Fofana opened the scoring for Porto in the 76th minute. It took the midfielder just 13 minutes to make his mark.
Despite his team conceding a draw (1-1), it was a dream debut for the 30-year-old Ivorian, who had a difficult spell in France's Ligue 1 with Rennes before joining FC Porto on loan this winter.
