On January 3, London’s West Ham suffered a defeat against Wolverhampton—Wolves’ first Premier League win of the season. The Hammers remain stuck in the relegation zone and are reportedly preparing for another managerial change.
Portuguese head coach Nuno Espírito Santo is at risk of losing his position as early as after the next fixture against Nottingham Forest, according to renowned journalist Florian Plettenberg.
Remarkably, this potential dismissal would be Nuno’s second of the current campaign. Back in September, he was sacked by Nottingham Forest. He took charge of West Ham at the end of September 2025, overseeing 15 matches and securing just two victories. West Ham now sit 18th in the table, trailing their nearest rival by four points.
