Nottingham Forest have decided to part ways with head coach Sean Dyche — and he was neither the first nor the second manager to take charge of the team this season.
Details: According to Opta, the Tricky Trees have become only the second club to appoint three different permanent managers over the course of a single Premier League campaign. The last side to do so were Watford in the 2019–20 season.
Nottingham currently sit 17th in the Premier League table with 27 points after 26 matches. Their cushion above the relegation zone stands at just three points. In their previous outing, the Forest played out a goalless draw against Wolves.
Reminder: Tottenham also recently announced that 52-year-old Danish coach Thomas Frank is no longer the club’s head coach.
