In the 26th round of Serie A, Milan suffered an away defeat against Torino. Sergio Conceição's team had a chance to secure at least a point, but fortune was not on their side that evening.

It all started with an own goal by Malick Thiaw, who opened the scoring in the 5th minute. Interestingly, in the first-round match against Torino, the German defender also scored an own goal. This unfortunate record made him only the second player in Milan's history to do so, after the legendary Franco Baresi.

According to statistical portal Opta Paolo, Baresi recorded two own goals in matches against Pescara during the 1992/93 season.

Additionally, Christian Pulisic missed a penalty for the first time in his career in this match. With this defeat, Milan remains in seventh place in the Serie A standings and continues to struggle with inconsistency.
