The Ivorian striker has set out his ambitions after missing out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Sebastien Haller does not want to let another opportunity to play in the World Cup slip by after Côte d'Ivoire failed to qualify for the 2022 tournament in Qatar.

In a recent interview, the Ivorian striker explained that the 2026 World Cup is his main personal goal. A hero of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, Sebastien Haller now hopes to write a new chapter in his story with the Ivory Coast national team.

I have to be there. I might have been less motivated if I’d known in advance that it wouldn’t be possible. We narrowly missed out on the 2022 World Cup, which was a huge disappointment. But now that we’ve qualified, my absolute goal is to be there too.
