The Ivorian striker has signed for the Japanese club as a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Utrecht.
As announced a few days ago, Sebastian Haller will continue his professional career in Asia, specifically in Japan. The Ivory Coast international will now play for Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

The arrival of the 32-year-old Ivory Coast player was made official on Monday 6 July by the Japanese club. Sebastian Haller will wear the Sanfrecce Hiroshima shirt during the 2026–2027 season.

A former player for Frankfurt, Ajax, West Ham, Leganés and Dortmund, the Ivorian striker arrives in the Japanese league with a wealth of European experience.
