Javier Tebas himself stated that he considers such actions unacceptable:

"Can you imagine videos with referees made by Barça and other clubs after this? We would kill football. Obviously, we cannot continue down this path.

We have reported to the Competition Committee about the persecution campaign against referees Díaz de Mera and González Fuertes through Real Madrid TV."

The scandal erupted over a video that appeared yesterday on the Real Madrid TV channel. The video showcased the mistakes of referee Isidro Díaz de Mera, who will officiate the match between Real Madrid and Sevilla, which will take place today.

The Technical Committee of Referees considers such videos as a way to pressure the referee and an action that damages football and the image of the competition.

Medina Cantalejo, the president of the refereeing body, sent these videos to the legal department of the RFEF, but they understood that there were no serious grounds for filing a complaint.
