A heated altercation broke out in the locker room of RK Zagreb following their Champions League handball loss to Nantes, reports Bild. The defeat seems to have hit the players hard!

The fight involved handball players Miloš Kos and Zvonimir Srna. According to reports, Kos attacked Zagreb’s goalkeeper Matej Mandić, prompting Srna to step in and punch Kos. As a result, the club announced the suspension of both players in an official statement.

RK Zagreb has also initiated a disciplinary commission to investigate the incident. Until the investigation concludes, both Kos and Srna will remain sidelined, with the possibility of their contracts being terminated.

The situation took an even graver turn as Mandić sustained a facial injury during the altercation. Reports indicate that he will require surgery, putting his participation in the 2025 World Championship, set to begin in mid-January, at risk.

RK Zagreb currently sits at the bottom of Group B in the Champions League standings, with only 4 points after nine matches.
