Scandal in Saudi Arabia! Mallorca players' wives report harassment by local fans
A controversial situation arose during the Spanish Super Cup semifinal between Real Madrid and Mallorca, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. According to Bild, the wives of Mallorca players complained about disrespectful behavior from local fans.
“We traveled without security staff and were harassed. Boys from this country took close-up photos of us and bothered us. There was no one to protect us,” said Cristina Palavra, the girlfriend of Mallorca player Dani Rodríguez.
Mallorca supporters echoed these concerns, emphasizing the disrespectful treatment of women, who appeared to be targeted the most.
“The worst part came after the game. On the 15-20 minute walk from the stands to the bus, people kept yelling at us, hundreds approached to take photos without our consent, even hitting us, mocking us, and laughing at us,” shared one Mallorca fan.
