It looks like Neymar needs to be extra cautious and avoid falling for provocations.

Details: A video circulating online shows supporters of Brazil's Velo Clube invading their team's training session and delivering a fiery speech to the players.

In their address, the fans demanded that the players injure Neymar—even to the extent of forcing him to miss the upcoming World Cup—if that's what it takes to secure a victory.

“If you have to take Neymar out of the World Cup, then take that son of a b***h out of the World Cup. Do whatever it takes to win!” the fans declared.

The reaction from Santos supporters was swift: a wave of negative comments directed at Velo Clube, along with threats and criticism towards the ultras for making such an incendiary statement.

Santos will face Velo Clube on February 16 in the 8th round of the Brazilian Paulista championship. As for Neymar himself, the decorated Brazilian star is currently undergoing rehabilitation following knee surgery. His response to the incident was remarkably calm—he posted on Instagram: “May God forgive these bad people.”

Reminder: The final benchmark. Neymar to retire if not called up for the World Cup
