Details: The evening’s main villain turned out to be Kylian Mbappé. Coming on as a substitute for just the final 10 minutes, the Real Madrid superstar staged a dramatic power move that left fans in shock.
Instead of simply joining the game, Mbappé practically demanded that Rayan Cherki go to N’Golo Kanté and take the captain’s armband from him. Video footage captured Kanté handing over the armband to Cherki without a word, who then delivered it straight to Kylian.
It’s worth noting that France won the match 3-1.
