According to CaughtOffside, the club has already made informal contact to assess the defender’s contractual situation and Atlético Madrid’s willingness to negotiate a transfer.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold’s possible departure, Liverpool are seeking a high-level replacement. Molina, a World Cup and Copa América winner and regular in Lionel Scaloni’s setup, fits that profile. His potential arrival would reunite him with fellow Argentina international Alexis Mac Allister, who remains a central figure in the team.
