Savio replacement. Girona are in talks over the transfer of the Tottenham winger

Since Savio's departure to Manchester City, Girona has yet to find a replacement for him. However, the club is actively working on it.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Girona has already initiated talks with Tottenham regarding the transfer of attacking midfielder Bryan Gil. The Spaniard is not part of head coach Ange Postecoglou's plans, making Tottenham willing to let him go. Gil was already excluded from Tottenham's preseason tour squad.
It is still unclear whether this will be a permanent transfer or a loan move for Girona.
Bryan Gil joined Tottenham in the summer of 2021 from Sevilla for €25 million but failed to establish himself at the English club. During his time at Tottenham, he played 43 matches and provided 2 assists. Previously, Tottenham had loaned Gil back to his home club Sevilla and Valencia.
Last season, the 23-year-old Spaniard appeared in only 11 Premier League matches.
It is worth noting that Girona sensationally secured 3rd place in La Liga and will debut in the UEFA Champions League in the upcoming season.
