Saudi clubs have been finalizing high-profile transfers in recent days, but there will be no more deals this January.
Details: The Saudi transfer window is now officially closed and will not reopen until the summer of 2025.
In the final moments before the deadline, Al-Ahli bolstered their attack by securing the signing of Porto winger Galeno. The Portuguese club will receive €50 million for the transfer, and Galeno has signed a long-term contract with the Saudi side.
Meanwhile, Napoli and Al-Ahli have reached an agreement on a €4 million loan deal for Allan Saint-Maximin. The Saudi club now needs to finalize contract termination talks with Fenerbahçe to facilitate the winger’s move to Italy.
Reminder: Reports suggest that Saudi investors are preparing a massive offer for Real Madrid to sign Vinícius Júnior this summer.
The proposed transfer fee is €350 million, which is €128 million more than PSG paid for Neymar, still the current world-record transfer fee.
