Saudi Arabian clubs eye Courtois: is the Real Madrid goalkeeper open to a move?
Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, long regarded as one of the best in the world at his position, could soon become the highest-paid goalkeeper in history.
Details: According to José Félix Díaz, clubs from Saudi Arabia have expressed interest in Courtois and are prepared to offer the Belgian an astronomical contract.
While the Saudi clubs have not yet initiated negotiations with Courtois, they are expected to ramp up their efforts closer to next summer.
However, Courtois has no immediate plans to leave Real Madrid. His current contract runs until the summer of 2026, and the goalkeeper is reportedly awaiting an offer to extend his stay in Madrid for several more years.
Reminder: Courtois missed most of last season due to a torn ACL but has made 15 appearances this season, securing six clean sheets.
