Saudi Arabian club preparing mega-transfer of Darwin Nunez
Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal are preparing to join the race for Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez, who plays for Liverpool, according to Anfield Watch.
Despite the fact that Darwin Nunez has scored only two goals this season, he still remains a promising striker. The club is ready to consider selling him in the coming transfer windows, and Al-Hilal are interested in signing him.
One of the reasons for this interest is the current Al-Hilal coach Jorge Jesus, who previously worked with Nunez at Portuguese Benfica. Under his guidance, the Uruguayan demonstrated outstanding results, scoring 32 goals in two seasons in the Portuguese league.
Recall that Darwin Nunez could take a place in Neymar's attack if the Brazilian leaves Al-Hilal soon. The change of scenery, according to experts, could have a positive effect on the Uruguayan's career, given that the Saudi professional league receives less attention than European championships.
