Saudi Arabia will host the Final Four of another European tournament

The "Final Four" of the Portuguese League Cup will take place in the stadiums of Saudi Arabia. This was officially announced by the Director of the Portuguese League, Rui Caeiro.

"The Middle East countries' eagerness to host such competitions has significantly increased, and we aim to take advantage of this opportunity generated by the market itself. Of course, we understand the desire of other regions, but it is evident that the Middle East gains an advantage by focusing on and investing in sports events, which is crucial in the present time", – quoted Caeiro by A Bola.

On January 23, in the first semifinal of the tournament, Sporting will face Braga, while on January 24, Benfica will compete against Estoril.

In the previous season, Porto won the League Cup, and Benfica holds the record for the most victories in the tournament with 7 titles.

It's worth noting that currently in Saudi Arabia, matches for the Spanish Super Cup are taking place. Yesterday, in the semifinals, Real Madrid defeated Atlético 5:3, and today, Barcelona will play against Osasuna.
