Saudi Arabia continues its efforts to become a global hub for hosting top-tier sporting events.
According to Reuters, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund is in talks with leading promotional companies worldwide to establish its own boxing league.
The project is estimated to cost between 4 and 5 billion euros.
In recent months, Saudi Arabia has hosted several high-profile boxing events, including the fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.
