Saud Abdulhamid signs permanent deal with Lens
The French club has exercised the buy-out clause for the Saudi international, who was on loan from Roma.
Saud Abdulhamid will not be returning to Roma. His loan spell at RC Lens has proved a success at the end of the season. The Lens management have therefore decided to keep him for the next three years. Indeed, the Saudi international has signed a contract running until 2029.
Since joining Lens in the summer of 2025, Saud Abdulhamid has distinguished himself with his performances. The 26-year-old full-back contributed to his team’s successful season with two goals and four assists at the end of the 2025–2026 season. He was one of the key players in Lens’s victory in the Coupe de France and their qualification for the 2026–2027 Champions League.
