Norwegian national team star Erling Haaland was evidently very pleased with the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Moldova. The Norwegians crushed their opponents with a score of 0-5, and Haaland himself scored a routine goal. He shared a post-match photo with his national team colleague on his Instagram page.

In the photo, Erling poses with Erik Botheim, a forward for the Swedish club Malmö. Botheim replaced Haaland during the match, in the 78th minute. Judging by the picture, the players are on a plane, presumably flying out of Moldova, where the match took place.

Besides the Norwegians and Moldovans, Group I of the qualifiers also includes Estonia, Israel, and Italy. The Italians joined the group after being knocked out by Germany in the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals. The Germans, in their qualifying group, will face Northern Ireland, Slovakia, and Luxembourg.

Tomorrow, on March 25, the Norwegian team will play their second qualifying match for the World Cup — an away game against Israel. It's worth noting that the match will take place in Debrecen, Hungary.
