After resigning from Lazio in March this year, Italian specialist Maurizio Sarri is on sabbatical, but there are clubs who are ready to interrupt the rest of the coach and bring him back to the bench.
A rather tempting (at least according to Sky Sports Italia) offer has been made to the specialist by Greek Panathinaikos, who were inspired by the recent triumph of their league rival Olympiacos in the Conference League.
Sarri himself has not yet made a decision on the Greek club's offer, but has only asked for time to think things over and then give his answer. The job in Greece could be the 65-year-old's second outside Italy.
Sarri's previous overseas experience was in the 2018/2019 season, when he worked at Chelsea. With the "pensioners" he won the Europa League.
