He stated that the primary objective is securing promotion back to Série A by the 2025 season.

If Neymar terminates his contract and becomes a free agent, we do have a relationship with his family and the player himself. "For Santos, now is not the time to rush. Getting back to Série A by 2025 is essential. After that, things will change based on revenue, priorities, and ongoing projects. Currently, any hopes regarding Neymar are heavily influencing both Santos and Brazilian football. We need to be cautious and prudent," Teixeira stated in an interview with Estadao.
