The legendary Santiago Bernabéu stadium will once again serve as a stage for the NFL.
Details: According to AS, Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu stadium will host additional regular-season National Football League (NFL) games both this year and in 2027.
Recall that the Santiago Bernabéu made history in November 2025, when it hosted Spain’s first-ever official NFL regular season match—a clash between the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders that ended 16-13 in overtime, drawing over 78,000 fans.
This milestone marked a crucial step in the NFL’s global strategy to expand its International Series beyond the United States. Following this success, the league decided to continue the tradition in Madrid, adding Santiago Bernabéu to the calendar for the coming seasons.
Official announcements regarding dates and participating teams for future games are expected closer to the start of the season.
Reminder: Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé dedicated his Panenka-style goal to his teammate Brahim Díaz.
